How and why did you decide to open BUBBLEMANIA® franchise?
While visiting Saint-Petersburg in 2012 we tried our first bubble tea at BUBBLEMANIA. We immediately fell in love with bubble tea. After that we wanted to open our own café but we didn’t managed to do it from zero. We remembered about BUBBLEMANIA® and liked their franchise conditions. Furthermore there was nothing comparable to this product in our city yet. So puzzle was complete.

Was any support provided by the franchisor before the opening? What kind of?
Continuous advices were provided by the franchisor before and at the time of opening. Anton had been in contact with us, encouraged and gave advices.

Did you missed any support before the opening (any information, trainings, promotion materials, etc)?
It was enough support! We were informed about everything!

How was your face-to-face staff training before the opening? Which positive or negative sides of training did you remember?
The training was in a nice and friendly atmosphere. Also it was clear, structured and understandable. Positive moments: openness, welcoming, professionalism and organization of training specialist.

How do you estimate the results of your work till the opening and why?
The results of our work we estimate as very successfully, because we see happy faces and positive feedback of our guests, our staff is happy to work, we have new clients by recommendations of their friends. Comparisons with our competitors go out unanimously in our favor. We think that it’s a really good result.

How do you estimate results of franchisors’ work after the opening?
Franchisors’ work is on a high level. We see that they develop and grow up which is a good sign. We can always be sure that we will get fast answers to our questions. We have fulltime support and mentors but on the other hand, we feel free because of loyal terms and good partnership conditions.

Promotion. What events made by you showed the best results?
We opened just 3 months ago. Because of that there was not many events. No comparison. Trying, experimenting, analyzing and witnessing.

What kind of marketing channels did you use for advertising your branch store?
We are recommending our tea station in social networks, some prints and online publications of our city.

Assortment. Which item of our product line do you like more?
All flavors are good in their own way. We would like to add flavors that for some reasons were taken out of the menu: yoghurt boba, lychee boba and aloe vera.

Assortment. How do you rate the quality of BUBBLEMANIA® ingredients? Are original ingredients, which are especially made for BUBBLEMANIA®, important to you?
Quality is great! Especially in comparison with competitors from our city. The originality of production is very important for us.

Certainly ingredients and cups are important for us!

How and why did you decide to open BUBBLEMANIA® franchise?
Initially I considering the purchase franchise of another company, but as an alternative decide to consider BUBBLEMANIA®. I was interested in considering exclusive rights in my city and BUBBLEMANIA® offered more flexible and suitable conditions for me. Also the brand looked like more interesting and perspective.

Was any support provided by the franchisor before the opening? What kind of?
At step of opening franchisor provided advisory service related to choices the room and equipment and also participated to compiling design-project of tea station in shopping center. Company offered us installment at compensation of expenses related to the face-to-face staff training

Did you missed any support before the opening (any information, trainings, promotion materials, etc)?
There was a little problem with promotion materials and layouts for graphic (lack of amount and few mistakes in some of them) it necessitated the third-party designer service, which led to increased costs and extra time.

How was your face-to-face staff training before the opening? Which positive or negative sides of training did you remember?
Training was in short time which was based on number of objective reasons. Despite this, staff provided enough knowledge and practical skills about mixing cocktails, communication with clients and promoting product. Training was easy and understandable, because of this all information was remembered very good and in the end of the training there was no more questions.

How do you estimate the results of your work till the opening and why?
On the one hand we see positive dynamic in revenue. This results from increase the brand recognition in the city and also with increasing numbers of regular customers. But very significant is fluctuation of value of sales because of the weather conditions and seasonality fact.

How do you estimate results of franchisors’ work after the opening?
Scene the beginning of cooperation, support from the franchisor became bigger. We are feeling the dynamic of companies’ development. For now all the difficulties and questions between us and franchisor dealing quickly and efficiently.

Promotion. What events made by you showed the best results?
The best result is from the actions in game form with feedback and an opportunity of prizes attractive to the participants. The most popular was event with drawing of IPad at the opening day, and also bubble tea photo competition in instagram, club card where the prizes (you can get this cards only in competitions or as a prize)

What kind of marketing channels did you use for advertising your branch store?
The main marketing canal is social networks (instagram, Vkontakte), they make the most accurate exposure to the target audience and also got very good value of costs and effectiveness. Cross-partnership also gives good results. Now we are trying to find new partners for cross cooperation. Distribution of tracts and outdoor advertising gives lower result, that because we decided to cancel it.

Assortment. Which item of our product line do you like more?
Now we would like to see larger assortment of toppings (up to 10). Regular customers are interested in updating of flavors (syrups or toppings) and it will motivate the new visitors. So we would like to periodically introduce new flavors to customers especially at the time of slump in sales.

Assortment. How do you rate the quality of BUBBLEMANIA® ingredients? Are original ingredients, which are especially made for BUBBLEMANIA®, important to you?
Ingredients quality allow us to differentiate from the competitors in our city and has positive effect to regular clients. But it is also raises production costs

Branded marking is important because it is raising corporate image at all.

Over the past 9 months of work in Irkutsk, brand BUBBLEMANIA® became recognizable and gained wide popularity among the target audience. For most potential visitors BUBBLEMANIA® is the most attractive in comparison with competitive.

How and why did you decide to open BUBBLEMANIA® franchise?
One day I have heard about a drink with bursting balls. I was wondering in it because we haven't got something like this in our city. I started to read information in Internet. It has become clear that BUBBLEMANIA® is the leader on Russian market in this segment. In our next trip to Saint Petersburg I visited two BUBBLEMANIA® tea station. After trying the cocktail I'd liked to open my own tea station in our city. The conditions of purpose and work of franchise of this company turned out to be very acceptable and had been decided to buy it.

Was any support provided by the franchisor before the opening? What kind of?
Yes. I received detailed instructions about the opening of tea station but in process we had few questions and we got answers to them by the companies' manager.

Did you missed any support before the opening (any information, trainings, promotion materials, etc)?
It was enough.

How was your face-to-face staff training before the opening? Which positive or negative sides of training did you remember?
Training was in friendly atmosphere, everything was clear and understandable. If at the beginning we had a lot of questions so at the end there was not a single one. Don't remember any negative aspects.

How do you estimate the results of your work till the opening and why?
Results are positive because the average bill increase, people recognize us and they like our product and service. We already have our regular customers.

How do you estimate results of franchisors’ work after the opening?
The mark is positive. We see that franchiser is interested in success of tea station work and all BUBBLEMANIA® as a whole.

We did a few promotions to inform our target category.

Social networks and promoters.

Assortment. Which item of our product line do you like more?
Bigger part of clients likes bubble tea based on milk. Oolung have a specific taste and rear when someone likes it. So many we could cancel it. I offer to add bubble gum taste.

Of course like the Quality of ingredients. Variety and originality is very important.

To earl to access the recognizability because tea station is on a stage of development. Our wishes: often, different promotions with sales for all BUBBLEMANIA®, to different flavors of the cocktail, "bubble of the day" ect. With flyers, designed by franchiser and special buttons in cash program.
